In 2017, survey of physicians was carried out that revealed a number of patterns and problems in the field of physicians perception of their own lives, social self-implementation. In 2019, survey was re-carried out covered 311 specialists from the Republic of Bashkortostan.

To explore the factors potentially related to professional self-assessment of physicians, sociological survey on the basis of sampling of 223 respondents who underwent professional training in 2017 was organized. The physicians with the first qualification category more often assessed themselves as "good" than other respondents (p=0.049).

Objective: Tooptimize MRI protocol in pregnant women with suspected acute appendicitis.

Material And Methods: There were 44pregnant women (gestation period 11 - 36 weeks)with suspected appendicitis.

Results: Fat-suppressed T2-weighted and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) was the most valuable to diagnose inflammation of appendix and surrounding tissues.

The-174G alpha-->C polymorphism of the interleukin 6 (IL-6) gene promoter and the-308G alpha-->A polymorphism of the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) gene promoter were tested for association with multiple myeloma (MM) varying in severity. Of 69 patients, 19 had aggressive MM, 26 had benign MM, and 24 had unidentified MM. The control group (N = 102) matched the test group in age and sex composition.

It was shown experimentally on mice that prodigiozan did not increase the acute toxicity of prednisolone. It lowered the prednisolone-induced reduction of the period of hexenal sleep and preserved the capacity for increasing resistance to infection, when the adrenal cortex was blocked with metopiron. These findings together with the literature data were interpreted as arguments against the assumption that glucocorticoid mobilization was an important factor of the prodigiozan mode of action.
