Background/objectives: Common Variable Immunodeficiency Disease (CVID) and other immunodeficiencies can present in subtle and variable ways. Whether or not a genetic lesion can be identified, there are not well understood biomarkers that quantitatively describe how severe a deficiency is. Here we discuss two possible ranking systems, CD4/CD8 T cell ratios and Immune Health Grades, and how such data maybe applicable to some immunodeficiencies.

The "l-Doubling" phenomenon emanates from the coupling between molecular rotations and perpendicular vibrations (bending modes) in polyatomic molecules. This elusive phenomenon has been largely discarded in laser-induced molecular alignment. Here we explore and unveil the ramifications of l-Doubling on the coherent rotational dynamics of linear triatomic molecules at ambient temperatures and above.

Background: Addressing modifiable risk factors such as physical inactivity and social isolation could reduce risk of Alzheimer's disease and all-cause dementia, but little is known about which factors individuals are most willing to address or how they prefer to address them.

Objective: To examine and describe behavior change goals set by participants during the Systematic Multi-domain Alzheimer's Risk Reduction Trial (SMARRT).

Methods: In SMARRT, older adults worked with a health coach and nurse over 2 years to set incremental, personalized goals to reduce dementia risk.

Purpose: We explored intervention fidelity, participant satisfaction, and the goals and reminder strategies participants chose to reduce sitting.

Approach: Mixed methods approach leveraging data collected during study coaching and fidelity monitoring.

Setting: A successful 6-month randomized controlled trial of a sedentary behavior (SB) intervention for adults ≥60 years in Washington, USA.

Purpose: Rural communities face specific challenges when attempting to implement evidence-based interventions, due to their size, distance from knowledge centers, and broad responsibility for the local population. The aim of this study was to investigate the utilization of an RPC (Research Practice Collaboration) initiative as a strategy for translation and implementation of EBPs in rural municipalities seeking to develop their services for individuals with serious mental illness.

Materials And Methods: Following a broad invitation consisting of a presentation of the newly produced National Psychiatry Guidelines, to four northern regions in Sweden, four municipalities participated in an RPC process that focused on the implementation of specific EBPs.
