Background: Multiple factors have been described to influence the risk of acute or chronic graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD or cGVHD) after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT), including underlying chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and high-dose total body irradiation (TBI).
