Background Oral candidiasis is the most prevalent oral fungal infection, and existing antifungal agents have side effects such as drug intolerance, resistance, and toxicity. Herbal essential oils are emerging as an alternative therapeutic approach for treating fungal infections (), commonly known as oregano, and (), commonly known as clove, are known to have antifungal properties and are effective against fluconazole-resistant strains. A combination of essential oils has a synergistic effect and aids in achieving effective antifungal activity at sufficiently low concentrations, which could lead to reduced side effects and resistance.

Assessment of Intratumoural and Stromal Infiltrating Lymphocytes In The Various Subtypes of Breast Carcinoma Patients who have Received Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy.

Background: Breast cancer comprises a highly heterogeneous subset of tumours that respond well to Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (NAC). Tumour Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TIL) act as a means to an end by shedding light on the treatment response as well as predictive factors to the clinicopathological features for the same. Therefore, this article attempts to shift the attention to the relevance of TIL in the aforementioned aspects by bringing to notice the contrasting traits displayed by them in the different immunohistochemical subtypes of breast carcinoma.

Background: There are many different types of malocclusions that may result from the sagittal, vertical, or transverse deviations in normal craniofacial development. When it comes to orthodontic problems, malocclusions in the sagittal plane may have a considerable impact on a person's self-esteem as well as their ability to speak and eat properly. Sagittal anomalies in the skeletal, dental, and soft tissue systems may now be accurately diagnosed using a universally accepted standard lateral cephalogram (SLCE).

Supine versus prone percutaneous nephrolithotomy for renal calculi: Our experience.

Objectives: To compare operative times, safety, and effectiveness of percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the supine versus the prone position.

Materials And Methods: An observational study of 100 patients was conducted in our institution for 2years from 2018 to 2020 divided into 2 groups: 50 patients underwent modified supine percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and 50 patients underwent standard prone PCNL. The inclusion criteria included a renal calculus (calyx or pelvis) of any size for which PCNL was indicated and exclusion criteria were patients having contraindications for PCNL such as bleeding disorders, pregnancy, high risk, and co-morbid conditions.
