Background: Most research initiatives have emerged from high-income countries (HIC), leaving a gap in understanding the disease's genetic basis in diverse populations like those in Latin American countries (LAC). ReDLat tackles this gap, focusing on LAC's unique genetics and socioeconomic factors to identify specific Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) risk factors in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
Method: We employed a comprehensive genetic analysis approach, integrating Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), Exome Sequencing, and SNP arrays to understand the cohort's unique genetic architecture.

In my column in last year's December issue (George, 2023), I asked you to engage with us to ask bold, uncomfortable questions informed by the ecocycle framework (Liberating Structures: Including and Unleashing Everyone, 1991). At the same time last year, the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA) board of directors began our strategic planning. While all parts of the strategic plan are important, this article will present our work to update CFHA's values.

GGT has become the standard of care for many cancers such as breast, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, and metastatic prostate cancer, and it is imperative that patients be offered timely and equitable access to testing as it can inform patient-physician shared decision making for management of the current cancer as well as anticipatory guidance for disease progression. Additionally, GGT guides screening for and prevention of secondary malignancies for the patient and cascade testing for at-risk family members.

We examine the internal redox reaction of Pd(bisphosphine)X (X = Cl, OAc, ) complexes to reveal previously underexplored aspects of bisphosphine monoxides (BPMOs), including evaluation of ligand structure and development of general reaction conditions to access a collection of structurally diverse BPMO precatalysts based on organopalladium oxidative addition complexes. In particular, a series of Pd(BPMO)(R)(X) (R = aryl, alkyl; X = I, Br) oxidative addition complexes bearing 24 different BPMO ligands were characterized by NMR and X-ray crystallography.
