There has been a trend in the United States of consolidation and corporatization of solo and small practices into larger groups. Many of these larger groups are owned by either hospital consortiums or private equity. Such larger practices often have their own Mohs surgeon to whom general dermatologists within these corporatized dermatology practices have been mandated to refer surgical patients.

Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a severe feline coronavirus-associated syndrome in cats, which is invariably fatal without anti-viral treatment. In the majority of non-effusive FIP cases encountered in practice, confirmatory diagnostic testing is not undertaken and reliance is given to the interpretation of valuable, but essentially non-specific, clinical signs and laboratory markers. We hypothesised that it may be feasible to develop a machine learning (ML) approach which may be applied to the analysis of clinical data to aid in the diagnosis of disease.

Background: Virtual reality simulation (VRS) is an emerging pedagogy in nursing education.

Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative exploratory study was 2-fold: to determine nursing students' learning experiences when engaged in VRS, and to explore learners' problem-solving/clinical reasoning approach after participation in a VRS clinical scenario.
