Background: The prevalence of tobacco use among people with mental health and substance use disorders in the US is high. State- and facility-level factors could be associated with the provision of tobacco treatment and tobacco-free grounds policy in mental health and substance use treatment facilities. We estimated the latest prevalence of, and factors associated with tobacco treatment provision and tobacco-free grounds policies in these facilities.

Beyond the well-documented homogenization reported in temperate basins, our knowledge on how multifaceted biodiversity response to fish invasions in tropic rivers remains poorly understood. It is also hanged in doubt that how fish invasions modify the longitudinal patterns of fish faunas under the concept of river continuum.

Natural nanoparticles have been found to exist in TCM decoctions. However, the influence of polysaccharides in TCM decoctions on the formation mechanism, drug release and gastrointestinal stability of nanoparticles remains unclear.

Methods: Four pediatric cases of primary thymic LELC confirmed by needle biopsy pathology from our research center were enrolled. All children underwent an enhanced chest computed tomography (CT) examination.
Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI) causes significant neuronal damage through oxidative stress, inflammation, and mitochondrial dysfunction. The G-protein-coupled receptor kinase 4 (GRK4) has been implicated in regulating stress responses in various tissues, but its role in ischemic brain injury remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the role of GRK4 in oxidative stress, inflammation, and mitophagy during CIRI using both in vivo and in vitro models.
