Second-language speakers are more likely to strategically reuse the words of their conversation partners (Zhang & Nicol, 2022). This study investigates if this is also the case for lower-proficiency bilinguals from a bilingual community, who use language more implicitly, and if there is more alignment with lower than with higher proficiency, provided the words to be aligned to are all highly familiar. In two experiments, Spanish-English bilinguals took turns with a confederate to name and match pictures in Spanish.

Methods: In the current work, we analyzed the ascorbyl palmitate liquid crystal structure with snake protein or PLA2, the carrier charge capacity, and we evaluated the immune response induced by the enzyme P9a(Cdt-PLA2) formulated in a nanostructure using CpG-ODN, determining the titer of IgG antibodies.
Microorganisms underpin numerous ecosystem processes and support biodiversity globally. Yet, we understand surprisingly little about what structures environmental microbiomes, including how to efficiently identify key players. Microbiome network theory predicts that highly connected hubs act as keystones, but this has never been empirically tested in nature.

We present a case of a 64-year-old African American woman who initially presented with a gradually enlarging nodule on her posterior scalp. An initial biopsy at an outside hospital suggested metastatic adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of an uncertain origin.

Metabolic syndrome (MS) is very prevalent after KT (30-40%) and its components contribute to the appearance of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease/metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (NAFLD/MAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which represents the hepatic component of MS. Furthermore, about 20-40% of KT recipients present early graft inflammation, including subclinical inflammation.
