Actinomycosis is a rare infection caused by Actinomyces spp. Of all actinomycosis infections, only 5% of Hepatic Actinomycosis (HA) infection has been reported. This disease is often misdiagnosed as a malignancy.

The impact of government pandemic policies on the vulnerability of healthcare workers to SARS-CoV-2 infection and mortality in Jakarta Province, Indonesia.

Introduction: Healthcare workers (HCWs) are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, putting them at a higher risk of infection and disease than non-HCWs. We analysed the effects of government policies for the public and for HCWs on the likelihood of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection and mortality among HCWs during the first 8 months of the pandemic in Jakarta province, the capital city and COVID-19 hotspot in Indonesia.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study using secondary data from the Jakarta provincial government from March to October 2020, which included sociodemographic characteristics, symptoms, comorbidities and COVID-19 diagnosis history for all cases.

Prediction of locally advanced bladder tumor using preoperative clinical parameters.

Background: Staging of bladder cancer (BC) still remains a challenge. In conjunction with imaging, there is a critical need for accessible and cost-effective predictors to evaluate the existence of locally advanced disease.

Objective: Our aim was to determine the role of preoperative clinical parameters in predicting locally advanced cT3/4 and/or cN+ in BC.

Tumor Markers as Predictors of Acute Kidney Injury Incidence and Staging of the Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer Receiving Chemoradiation Therapy.

Background: Bladder cancer, as one of types of cancers within the urinary tract, is associated with a greater risk of acute kidney injury (AKI), resulting in a poorer prognosis, discontinuation of effective oncological treatments, longer hospitalization, and higher expenses. There is no discussion yet on tumor markers in bladder cancer. With the revolutionary advances in bladder cancer molecular subtyping over the past decade, the presence of tumor markers to assess the staging of bladder cancer has yet to be discussed.

Incidence of COVID-19 in cancer patients in a teaching hospital faculty of medicine, in Medan, Indonesia.

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the incidence of COVID-19 in cancer patients in the Teaching Hospital Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia.

Methods: This descriptive study was conducted at H. Adam Malik Hospital and USU General Hospital, Medan, from March 2020 to August 2021.
