Background: Pheochromocytoma, the great masquerader, can have a varied spectrum of clinical manifestations. It can often cause a diagnostic challenge despite the availability of modern investigation modalities.

Case: We present the case of a 38-year-old male who presented with uncontrolled hypertension for the past 10 years and heart failure for one year.

Single-center experience of 105-minimalistc transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve replacement and its outcome.

Introduction: Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) increases worldwide, and indications expand from high-risk aortic stenosis patients to low-risk aortic stenosis. Studies have shown that minimalistic TAVR done under conscious sedation is safe and effective. We report single-operator, the single-center outcome of 105 minimalist transfemoral, conscious sedation TAVR patients, analyzed retrospectively.

High costs and limited dietitian services for home enteral nutrition users: A Canadian study.

Background: Home enteral nutrition (HEN) is the provision of nutrition through a tube outside the hospital. The Canadian prevalence of HEN is not previously well understood. This study aimed to (1) describe the demographics and healthcare usage of HEN in adults in a Canadian health authority, (2) compare the proportion of HEN-related hospital visits between patients who did and did not receive a community registered dietitian (RD) follow-up, and (3) determine associations between demographic and healthcare usage of HEN adults .

Are Dietitians Documenting Malnutrition Based on Subjective Global Assessment Category?

This study reports on dietitian use of the Nutrition Care Process Terminology (NCPT) diagnosis of malnutrition based on Subjective Global Assessment (SGA). Nutrition assessment reports for adults in medical, surgical, and cardiac units in 13 Canadian hospitals were retrospectively examined for a 6-week period in 2014. Reports with a SGA and NCPT diagnosis were included regardless of why the patient was seen by the dietitian.

Atraumatic sequential bilateral locking of the knee joints secondary to dislocation of non-discoid lateral menisci without radiological abnormality.

Lateral meniscus dislocation, as a cause of atraumatic knee locking, is often attributed to a discoid meniscus which can be readily diagnosed on MRI. In the absence of radiological abnormality, a dislocated lateral meniscus is a rare occurrence. We present a case of a 14 year old male who presented with atraumatic sequential locking of bilateral knees 6 months apart.
