Objectives: This study aims to analyze the biomechanics of three kinds of rigid internal fixation methods for condylar head fractures.
Methods: A three dimensional finite element model of the normal mandible was constructed. It was then used to prepare condylar head fracture finite element model and three kinds of rigid internal fixation finite element model (unilateral tension screw, bilateral tension screw, tension screw+titanium plate).
Background: Ischemic stroke (IS) remains a significant global health burden, necessitating the development of novel therapeutic strategies. This study aims to systematically evaluate the therapeutic effects of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (MSC-Exos) on IS outcomes in rodent models.
Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases to identify studies investigating the effects of MSC-Exos on rodent models of IS.
Background: Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare yet significant neurological disorder with high mortality. Understanding its evolving characteristics, risk factors, and outcomes, particularly in Chinese patients after the COVID-19 pandemic, is critical for developing effective preventive and therapeutic strategies.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 471 CVST cases from Xuanwu Hospital, comparing data before (2013-2017, n = 243) and after (2021-2023, n = 228) the COVID-19 pandemic.

Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), the predominant polyphenol in green tea, exerts a spectrum of physiological activities, including antioxidant, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory effects. Emerging research underscores the significance of EGCG in modulating oocyte aging. EGCG can enhance antioxidant defenses, improve mitochondrial functions, and inhibit apoptotic pathways, thereby retarding the aging of oocytes.
