Introduction: Osteonecrosis of femoral head (ONFH) is a disabling condition of the hip joint with multifactorial etiology and is associated with genetic predilection and exposure to certain risk factors most commonly being chronic alcohol or steroid intake. Total hip arthroplasty (THA) remains the gold standard for end-stage femoral head osteonecrosis. The outcome after the surgery is mainly affected by age, activity levels and other factors that affect the development of ONFH.

The Collaborative Quality ImProvement (C-QIP) trial aims to develop and test the feasibility and clinical effect of a multicomponent strategy among patients with prevalent CVD in India.
Methods: The C-QIP is a clinic-based, open randomized trial of a multicomponent intervention vs usual care that was locally developed and adapted for use in Indian settings through rigorous formative research guided by Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR).
Sensory experience during developmental critical periods has lifelong consequences for circuit function and behavior, but the molecular and cellular mechanisms through which experience causes these changes are not well understood. The Drosophila antennal lobe houses synapses between olfactory sensory neurons (OSNs) and downstream projection neurons (PNs) in stereotyped glomeruli. Many glomeruli exhibit structural plasticity in response to early-life odor exposure, indicating a general sensitivity of the fly olfactory circuitry to early sensory experience.

Among all the hydroxypyrazolones, and showed the best inhibition against α-amylase and α-glucosidase, which finds support from molecular docking and dynamic studies.

Despite reductions in mortality rates due to advances in early identification and treatment methods, PCa remains a major health concern. Recent research has shed light on a possible link between PCa and Alzheimer's disease (AD), which is a significant neurological ailment that affects older males all over the world.
