Esophageal cancer is a grave malignant condition. While radiotherapy, often in conjunction with chemotherapy, serves as a cornerstone in the management of locally advanced or metastatic cases, patient tolerance and treatment resistance frequently hinder its efficacy. Cell-in-cell structures, prevalent in various tumors, have been linked to prognosis.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFSuperlattices are significant means to reduce the lattice thermal conductivity of thermoelectric materials and optimize their performance. In this work, using high-precision first-principles based neural network potentials combined with non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations and the phonon Boltzmann transport equation, the lattice thermal conductivities of BiTe monolayer and lateral BiTe/SbTe monolayer superlattices are thoroughly investigated. As the period length increases, the thermal conductivity shows a trend of an initial decrease followed by an increase, which aligns with conventional observations.

However, the intricate details surrounding the establishment and growth of microorganisms on BDMs and PE during their degradation in agricultural fields remain unclear. In this study, the succession of bacterial communities in farmland soil and the plastispheres of PE and BDMs were compared through 16S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing and real-time PCR.

Nevertheless, this inevitably introduces a considerable amount of noise. Distant supervised relation extraction models aggregate all sentences sharing the same entity pairs into bags and employ various attention mechanisms to reduce the impact of noisy instances.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTumor-derived extracellular vesicles (T-EVs) PD-L1 are an important biomarker for predicting immunotherapy response and can help us understand the mechanism of resistance to immunotherapy. However, this is due to the interference from a large proportion of nontumor-derived EVs. It is still challenging to accurately analyze T-EVs PD-L1 in complex human fluids.
