In advanced-stage classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), the prognosis has improved due to combination chemotherapy and PET/CT-guided treatment modification, resulting in a decreased prognostic capacity of IPS models. A novel model, A-HIPI, was found to be superior to IPS in predicting prognosis. In this study, we aimed to validate the A-HIPI model among Turkish cHL patients and compare its performance with other clinical prediction models.

Extramedullary disease (EMD) is an aggressive manifestation of multiple myeloma (MM) and is categorized into two distinct types: extramedullary-bone-related (EM-B) and extramedullary-extraosseous (EM-E). We aimed to investigate differences in the characteristics of disease and outcomes between these two types. This single-center, retrospective study included 132 patients with EMD who were diagnosed with MM between January 2010 and January 2020.

BACKGROUND The standard conditioning regimen for autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) in multiple myeloma (MM) is 200 mg/m² of melphalan (Mel200). Dosing is reduced by 30% (Mel140) in frail patients. Studies comparing the performance of these regimens report inconsistent findings, mainly confounded by non-consecutive patient inclusion, missing data, and heterogenous practices.

BCR::ABL1-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) pose a substantial risk of thrombosis, leading to significant morbidity and mortality. Anticoagulant therapy, historically based on vitamin K antagonists (VKAs), has limitations in preventing recurrent thrombotic events and managing bleeding complications. Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) offer a potential alternative with improved pharmacokinetics and compliance.

Background And Aim: Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) incidence has recently increased in younger individuals. With time, given the nature of the disease and available therapies, as well as the existing paucity and inconsistency of advice, worries about fertility have surfaced. With all these clear unknowns, we designed this study to raise awareness among both physicians and CML patients about whether male and female patients of childbearing age were using contraception at the time of diagnosis, and if so, which methods they were using.
