The contemporary antiulcer treatment is performed with drugs which act unfavorably on the professional fitness on automobile and engine drivers. In 28 patients with newly discovered and untreated peptic ulcer disease the supporting treatment with Biotitin and Gastrozepin did not show unfavorable effect on the ability to concentrate, to fix the attention, fast choice of conduct and on the length of the latent period and the motion times. In comparison with 14 healthy persons the patients examined showed changes in their neurophysiological condition prior to the antiulcer treatment which correlate with the onset of the peptic ulcer disease, the disturbances of the prostaglandin synthesis and the development of functional beta-adrenergic protective reaction.

The fibronectin plasma level is discussed in relation to the severity of the disease, characterized by morphologic and quantitative radionuclide indices, in 30 patients with osteoarthrosis, 10 patients with psoriatic arthropathy, 32 patients with chronic urethroprostatitis and joint syndrome and in 34 healthy controls.

The markedness of the inflammatory reaction and severity of a noninflammatory tissue-articular destruction correlated with accumulation of 99Tc-pyrophosphate in articular structures. Uricemia and calcemia decreased as the activity of rheumatoid arthritis rose and they correlated with the severity of destructive changes.

The late and moderate changes in ESK, leukocytes, fibrinogen, DPA and phosphatasemia do not characterize the severity of the disease. A tendency to hyperuricemia and hypercalcemia is established in the period of arthralgia before the X-ray image for bone-tissue damage.

The study confirmed the thesis that the diagnostic characteristics including the articular symptomatics are among the most striking ones. Synovial-arthritis and the involvement of the soft tissues are accompanied by disorders in the immune system with increased number of early T-lymphocytes, of Fc Gd and complement (C3b)-receptor lymphocytes and of spontaneously blast-transformed cells.
