People with HIV (PWH) and people with diabetes mellitus have increased risk of severe COVID-19, but little is known about humoral response to COVID-19 vaccines in PWH with DM. We investigated SARS-CoV-2 antireceptor-binding domain (anti-RBD) immunoglobulin G (IgG) geometrical concentrations and neutralizing antibody capacity (nAB) in PWH with and without diabetes mellitus. Anti-RBD IgG and nAB in COVID-19-vaccinated PWH were not associated with diabetes mellitus-status or HbA1c 24 months after the initial COVID-19 vaccination.

Methods: The delivered dose was evaluated for 21 locally-advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC) patients treated as part of the NARLAL2 dose-escalation trial.
Pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is challenged by chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGvHD) significantly affecting survival and long-term morbidity, but underlying mechanisms including the impact of post-HSCT CMV infection are sparsely studied. We first investigated the impact of CMV infection for development of cGvHD in 322 children undergoing standard myeloablative HSCT between 2000 and 2018. Clinically significant CMV infection (n = 61) was an independent risk factor for chronic GvHD in a multivariable Cox regression analysis (HR = 2.

This information has important implications for family screening programs, genetic counseling, and management of affected families.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the disease expression and penetrance in relatives of index patients carrying pathogenic/likely pathogenic (P/LP) variants in recognized HCM genes.
