Introduction: Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is the most common autoimmune blistering disease. It predominately afflicts the elderly and is significantly associated with increased mortality. The observation of age-dependent changes in the skin microbiota as well as its involvement in other inflammatory skin disorders suggests that skin microbiota may play a role in the emergence of BP blistering.

A könnyűlánc-amyloidosis ritka, multidiszciplináris jelentőségű kórkép, melynek hátterében az esetek döntő hányadában egy amyloidogen fehérje, a csontvelő kóros plazmasejtjeiben termelődő monoklonálisimmunglobulin-molekula lambda típusú könnyűláncának felszaporodása áll. A klinikai tünetek az érintett szervek függvényében igen változatosak és gyakran nem specifikusak, ezért a betegség sok esetben későn kerül felismerésre.

Primary aim of the present article was to determine the relationship between mesh fixation methods and the occurrence of postoperative pain after laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. 101 patients diagnosed with inguinal hernia benefited from elective laparoscopic treatment of the abdominal wall defect. Follow up was realized at one and three months after surgical intervention.
