Acute gastroenteritis is common in infants and children of Sri Lanka. There is limited information on the burden of rotavirus gastroenteritis in infants and children in Sri Lanka but none in adults. Adenovirus gastroenteritis is not previously reported in Sri Lanka.

Two groups of fish were exposed to APAP dissolved in aged municipal water (T: 2 mg/L and T: 10 mg/L) for 8 weeks in three replicates ( = 7 fish per tank), alongside a control group (C) without APAP.

In Sri Lanka, opportunistic screening is encouraged as a cost-effective tool to bring down the prevalence of oral cancer, which is the most common cancer among males. The objectives of the study were to determine the practices, attitudes, and level of competency of dental surgeons regarding the early detection of oral cancer and oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) through opportunistic screening.
