[Outpatient surgical treatment of urogenital diseases in children].

A surgical unit and day hospital at the children's hospital in the town of Cheboksary were set up 7 years ago. Their personnel includes children's surgeons, urologist, anesthesiologist, traumatologist, nurses. Selection of children with diseases and anomalies of the urogenital system was conducted by the urologist, children's surgeons and anesthesiologist.

[Extravesical ectopy of accessory ostium uterus].

Two cases with rare location of ectopic accessory ostium ureteris in the cervix uteri are described. This abnormality can be combined with a vaginal and/or uterine developmental defect, leading to female sterility. Another probable cause of sterility in this uterine duct abnormality is constant release of acid urine into the uterine cavity, maintaining chronic endometritis.

[The rehabilitation of patients with urethral injuries and their sequelae].

The treatment was conducted for 154 patients aged 3-69 with traumatic rupture of the urethra. Eighteen patients underwent primary suturing, five patients primary delayed repair of the urethra. Urethral patency was achieved in all the cases.
