: It is unknown whether the negative health effects associated with ultra-processed foods (UPFs) are due to their nutritional composition or to the extent of food processing itself. We evaluated the impact of a test meal composed only of UPF, according to the NOVA classification, compared to a similar meal without UPF in adults with obesity. : This is a parallel, randomized trial.

Subcutaneous (SAT) and visceral (VAT) adipose tissue dysfunction during the obesity onset can lead to increased expression of inflammatory molecules, and consequently to immune cell infiltration. The aim was to deeply characterize the T cells, those infiltrating SAT and VAT, compared to peripheral blood (PB), in individuals undergoing bariatric surgery. Forty-two adult individuals were recruited, SAT and VAT samples were collected.

To describe patterns of self-rated health (SRH) trajectories and investigate their association with sociodemographic, occupational, and health factors. The sample consisted of 7,738 active public servants from the Brazilian Longitudinal Study of Adult Health (ELSA-Brasil), evaluated from 2008 to 2020. The patterns of SRH trajectories were obtained by eleven time points, using the latent class growth curve.

Teaching the history of nursing: an overview of Brazilian public universities.

Objective: To describe the teaching of the History of Nursing in the curricular structures of Undergraduate Nursing Courses at Brazilian public universities.

Method: A documentary, descriptive study with a qualitative approach carried out between February 2021 and August 2023. The sample included the curricula of active face-to-face undergraduate courses at public educational institutions (n=136) identified on the e-MEC platform.
