Background: Previously it was recognised onset of Lactogenesis II was delayed in women with Type I diabetes compared to women without diabetes, but the effect of gestational diabetes was unclear. Some clinicians suggest pregnant women with diabetes express breastmilk in late pregnancy to hasten onset of Lactogenesis II.

Aims: To confirm if Lactogenesis II occurs later in women with diabetes in pregnancy, and test if advice to express antenatally hastens Lactogenesis II.

Background: Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic there were midwifery workforce deficits reported in Australia, but inadequate workforce data to identify retention and attrition in the profession. In the post-pandemic era, workforce deficits continue. This paper reports on midwives' intentions to leave the profession and explores reasons for and factors associated with having high intention to leave, to inform strategies that can address retention and attrition of midwives.

Oxygen-enhanced MRI (OE-MRI) has shown promise for quantifying and spatially mapping tumor hypoxia, either alone or in combination with perfusion imaging. Previous studies have validated the technique in mouse models and in patients with cancer. Here, we report the first evidence that OE-MRI can track change in tumor oxygenation induced by two drugs designed to modify hypoxia.
