A rare association of accessory testicular artery along with double renal arteries and accessory renal vein was observed unilaterally on the left side. In addition, the left inferior phrenic artery was arising from the left gastric branch of the coeliac trunk. This was observed in the dissection of an adult male cadaver during a routine undergraduate teaching programme.

There have been fourteen cases of solitary fibrous tumour reported as originating from the paranasal sinuses. Here we report a case of solitary fibrous tumour that involved the right nasal cavity with extension into the oropharynx causing stertor and intermittent respiratory obtruction. Histopathology examination revealed the tumuor cells expressed CD34 turnout marker.

Haematococcus pluvialis is one of the potent organisms for production of astaxanthin, a high value ketocarotenoid. Astaxanthin is accumulated in thick-walled cyst cells of Haematococcus. The thick cell wall is made up of sporopollenin-like material, algaenan, which hinders solvent extraction of astaxanthin.
