However, in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) access to diagnostic services is often limited due to the absence of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Polyelectrolyte multilayers (PEMs) based on hyaluronic acid (HA) and poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) were deposited on oxidized polystyrene (PS) via the layer-by-layer (LbL) method. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) confirmed the PEM deposition on PS, and atomic force microscopy (AFM) indicated that the surface roughness of PS also increased after PEM deposition. Early career psychiatrists' perceptions of and training experience in electroconvulsive therapy: A cross-sectional survey across Europe.

Background: Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a safe and effective treatment for several major psychiatric conditions, including treatment-resistant depression, mania, and schizophrenia; nevertheless, its use remains controversial. Despite its availability in some European countries, ECT is still rarely used in others. This study aims to investigate the experiences and attitudes of early career psychiatrists (ECPs) across Europe towards ECT and to examine how their exposure to ECT influences their perceptions.

In this interview, Weibe Tapeba, secretary of Indigenous Health at the Ministry of Health in the Lula Government, discusses the process of reorganizing the Secretariat of Indigenous Health (SESAI) and Indigenous protagonism in the new administration. Among the points highlighted by the interviewee are the assessment of the Indigenous health scenario within the current political context of the Ministry of Health, dialogues with Indigenous movement organizations, as well as collaboration with research and educational institutions. The interview highlights the importance of developing strategies aimed at restructuring SESAI and improving Indigenous health public policy in Brazil through extensive coordination, involving planning, management, funding, and Indigenous social participation with Social Control.

Part of this text resulted in a lecture presented at the opening of the 20th National Science and Technology Week of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in October 2023. It is the reflection of an Indigenous historian on her professional trajectory, considering the racism in force in the scientific community and the paths that the Indigenous knowledge rivers have traveled to demarcate writing as a field for securing the rights guaranteed in the 1988 Federal Constitution, constituting a space of resistance for the continuity of the Brazilian Indigenous peoples' plural existences.
