Metallo-supramolecular polyelectrolytes (MEPE) have a variety of attractive properties concerning electrochromism, spin-crossover, rheology, and cell differentiation. Previous studies suggest that these polynuclear structures can be regarded as an assembly of individual subunits and mononuclear complexes can act as models. In this study, we synthesize a monotopic and a ditopic terpyridine ligand with pyridinium units as well as the corresponding iron and ruthenium MEPEs and their mononuclear counterparts.

Streptomyces N2A, an endophytic actinobacteria that promotes soybean growth and increases yield and seed quality under field conditions.

Sustainable agriculture based on the use of soil-beneficial microbes such as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and biocontrol agents (BCA) is gaining great consideration to reduce the use of agrochemicals for crop production. With this aim, in this study, a total of 78 actinobacteria were isolated from the rhizosphere and endosphere of soybean roots. Based on in vitro compatibility with Bradyrhizobium japonicum, the ability to produce phytohormones, siderophores, exo-enzymes, antifungal compounds and phosphate solubilization (PGPR traits), two endophytic strains, named N2A and N9, were selected to evaluate their effects on plant growth and development at greenhouse and field conditions.

A new myopia control lens design uses contrast reduction to down-regulate a hypothesized enhanced ON contrast sensitivity in myopes. The study thus examined ON/OFF receptive field processing in myopes and non-myopes and the impact of contrast reduction.

ACR-RADS Programs Current State and Future Opportunities: Defining a Governance Structure to Enable Sustained Success.

In the spring of 2021, the ACR approved a proposal to improve the consistency, transparency, and administrative oversight of the ACR Reporting and Data Systems (RADS). A working group of experts and stakeholders was convened to draft this governance document. Major advances include (1) forming a RADS Steering Committee, (2) establishing minimum requirements and evidence standards for new and existing RADS, and (3) outlining a governance structure and communication strategy for RADS.
