The European Union Clinical Trials Regulation (EU CTR) provides new regulatory requirements for the preparation and submission of clinical trial documents. The United Kingdom Drug Information Association Medical Writing (UK DIA MW) Committee, with members from across the pharmaceutical industry, have reviewed the EU CTR and in this report, provide expert guidance on writing documents for submission in the EU CTR Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) portal. Medical writers should be aware that the Investigator's Brochure containing the Reference Safety Information (RSI) must align with the annual safety report, and the RSI format must comply closely with the EU CTR.

Mesoporous structured electron transport layers (ETLs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have an increased surface contact with the perovskite layer, enabling effective charge separation and extraction, and high-efficiency devices. However, the most widely used ETL material in PSCs, TiO, requires a sintering temperature of more than 500 °C and undergoes photocatalytic reaction under incident illumination that limits operational stability. Recent efforts have focused on finding alternative ETL materials, such as SnO.

Background: Pediatric trauma management seeks to minimize head computed tomography (HCT) while capturing clinically important traumatic brain injuries (ciTBI). The Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) system stratifies patients as high-, intermediate-, or low-risk for ciTBI. Although designed for free falls, we noted that PECARN criteria often are applied to tumbling down stairs (TDS), with steps estimated at 12", though TDS rarely appeared to result in ciTBI.
