Data are presented on a randomized study (stage II) which was undertaken to assess the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (doxorubicin+paclitaxel) vis-a-vis endocrine therapy with aromatase inhibitors (anastrazole or exemestane) in postmenopausal women with ER-positive and/or PgR-positive tumors. Preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy was well tolerated and showed similar rates of overall response as compared with the latter regimen.

The donor nature of the cells was identified by their karyotype and by DNA hybridization with rat ID-element. Cells with ultrastructural characteristics of fibroblasts encapsulating foreign body in the peritoneal cavity of the xenogeneic radiation chimeras were shown to originate from the transplanted (donor) bone marrow.

Precursors of the inflammation focus cells (irrespective of localization) reproduce intensively outside the limits of intraorganic connective tissue, supposedly, in hemopoietic organs of the bone marrow type and migrate, through the blood channel, into tissues (inflammation foci), where they terminate their differentiation.
