To investigate the efficacy and safety of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with sintilimab and bevacizumab biosimilar in the treatment of unresectable hepatocellular careinoma (uHCC). The clinical data of 64 patients with unresectable HCC, who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University between January 2021 and December 2023, were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into a combination group (=43, receiving TACE combined with sintilimab and bevacizumab biosimilar) and control group (=21, receiving only sintilimab and bevacizumab biosimilar).

Neural Ordinary Differential Equations, Elastic Net, Stacking, and Categorical Boosting were applied as artificial intelligence methods to predict chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiency, biomass productivity, biomass yield, and energy yield. Among these, the Stacking model demonstrated superior predictive performance across all targets.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare neoplastic disease affecting the lung, kidney, and lymphatic system with a molecular mechanism of tuberous sclerosis complex 2 (TSC2) mutations. Vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D), a ligand for vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3 (VEGFR3), is a diagnostic biomarker of LAM and is associated with lymphatic circulation abnormalities. This study explored the interaction between LAM cells and lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs) and the effects of rapamycin on this interaction, which may help to identify new targets for LAM treatment.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTomato, as the vegetable queen, is cultivated worldwide due to its rich nutrient content and unique flavor. Nondestructive technology provides efficient and noninvasive solutions for the quality assessment of tomatoes. However, processing the substantial datasets to achieve a robust model and enhance detection performance for nondestructive technology is a great challenge until deep learning is developed.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFArtificial nanostructures with ultrafine and deep-subwavelength features have emerged as a paradigm-shifting platform to advanced light-field management, becoming key building blocks for high-performance integrated optoelectronics and flat optics. However, direct optical inspection of integrated chips remains a missing metrology gap that hinders quick feedback between design and fabrications. Here, we demonstrate that photothermal nonlinear scattering microscopy can be used for direct imaging and resolving of integrated optoelectronic chips beyond the diffraction limit.
