Objective: Explore the experiences of stakeholders within hearing care pathways using a human-centered design process to design a patient navigator (PN) to improve hearing health equity for deaf or hard-of-hearing children.

Study Design: A qualitative, prospective, observational study utilizing the Empathize, Define, and Ideate phases of Human-Centered Design.

Setting: Academic tertiary children's hospital with interviews over Zoom.

Background: Colorectal cancer is the most common cancer globally, and its prevalence is high in minority populations.

Objectives: To investigate the effectiveness of a young adult community health advisor (YACHA)-led intervention in enhancing the colorectal cancer (CRC) screening uptake rate among asymptomatic South Asians aged 50 to 75 years residing in Hong Kong and to investigate the acceptability of this intervention.

Methods: A randomized controlled trial design was adopted.

HEalth-Related Quality of Life-Intervention in Survivors of Breast and Other Cancers Experiencing Cancer-Related Fatigue and Associated Cognitive Symptoms Using TraditionAL Chinese Medicine: The 'HERBAL' Trial.

Introduction: As pharmacological strategies remain limited for relieving fatigue and associated cognitive symptoms, integrative modalities such as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) could be explored as therapeutic strategies in cancer survivors. Here, we evaluate and report the efficacy and safety of a TCM concoction, modified Xiang Bei Yang Rong Tang (XBYRT), on quality of life (QOL), cancer-related fatigue (CRF), and cognitive symptoms, compared to placebo.

Methods: In a single-centered, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled pilot trial conducted from 2019 to 2022, fatigued cancer survivors ≥21 years old were recruited to receive the XBYRT intervention or placebo (5% diluted) once daily for the duration of 8 weeks.

Background: There is lower female representation within academic medicine. We aimed to investigate female authorship (FA) and female-held chair or program director (PD) positions within head and neck oncology (HNO).

Methods: Articles authored by females about microvascular and reconstructive surgery (MRS) and transoral robotic surgery (TORS) were identified.

Outcome evaluation and cost-effectiveness analysis for an integrated multidisciplinary diabetic limb salvage program: a combined observational and simulation study.

Introduction: To compare the clinical outcomes and healthcare utilization of patients enrolled in the multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot in Primary and Tertiary (DEFINITE) Care program with a matched historical cohort and estimate the program's long-term cost-effectiveness using simulation.

Research Design And Methods: This study consisted of two components: a 1-year observational outcome evaluation and a long-term simulation-based cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA). We conducted an observational study to analyze 2798 patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) enrolled in the program between June 2020 and June 2021 (DEFINITE Care group) and 5462 patients with DFUs from June 2016 to December 2017 as historical controls.
