Importance: While continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) has been found to improve diabetes care processes and outcomes, adoption remains low.
Objective: To examine the association between CGM prescriptions and individual characteristics among patients with type 1 or 2 diabetes (T1D and T2D, respectively).
Design, Setting, And Participants: Retrospective cross-sectional study using electronic health record data for patients with T1D or T1D from 275 clinic sites nationwide between January 2014 and February 2021.
Background: Deep-rooted racial residential segregation and housing discrimination have given rise to housing disparities among low-income Black young adults in the US. Most studies have focused on single dimensions of housing instability, and thus provide a partial view of how Black young adults experience multiple, and perhaps overlapping, experiences of housing instability including homelessness, frequent moves, unaffordability, or evictions. We aimed to illuminate the multiple forms of housing instability that Black young adults contend with and examine relationships between housing instability and mental health outcomes.

This level of control is provided over several timescales and involves the neurotransmitter GABA acting at inhibitory synapses to: rapidly inhibit neurons by activating the GABA receptor; over a slower timescale, to tonically activate extrasynaptic GABA receptors to provide a low level of background inhibition; and finally, to activate G-protein coupled GABA receptors to control transmitter release by inhibiting presynaptic Ca channels whilst providing postsynaptic inhibition via K channel activation. From this plethora of roles for GABA and its receptors, the GABA receptor isoform is of major interest due to its dynamic functional plasticity, which in part, is due to being targeted by modulatory brain neurosteroids derived from sex and stress hormones.

This study aims to better understand the role of telehealth and social determinants of health in improving care connections and outcomes for Community Health Center patients with diabetes.
Methods: This retrospective analysis of Electronic Health Record (EHR) data examined the relationship between telehealth utilization and glycemic control and consistency of connection to the health care team ("connectivity"). EHR data were collected from 20 Community Health Centers from July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021.
Introduction: Despite its importance, there is a paucity of evidence describing the role and responsibilities of trainee representatives.
Aim: This study explored key stakeholders' experiences and expectations of the trainee representative role.
Method: All eligible individuals in the West Midlands Deanery's School of Medicine were invited to participate in an interview exploring their experiences and expectations of the trainee representative role.
