Museums are expected to prove their social value and ability to have a long-term social impact. Hence, in order to do so, museums, as experience hubs and the most-visited cultural attraction, may use their potential to offer experiences that could help visitors thrive by increasing their psychological wellbeing. Although psychological wellbeing has been a hot topic, the synthesized and holistic review of the literature on this theme has been lacking in regard to museums.

Splintering of tourism market: new appearing forms of cultural tourism as a consequence of changes in everyday lives.

Within the concept of cultural tourism, this article defines relatively new concepts of creative and hobby tourism, which are detected as recent niche markets. Cultural tourism is a narrow specialized market, while creative and hobby tourism relate to even more specialized segments. Even these specialized forms of tourism have their market whose growth is very probable taking into account changes in everyday work as well as changes in the values of human activity in general.

Clinicopathologic profile of gestational trophoblastic disease.

Much debate exists on factors predicting the development of persistent gestational trophoblastic disease (pGTD). Diagnosis is still limited by following persistently elevated or rising postevacutation beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (beta-hCG) titers. The aim of the present work was to evaluate the hypothesis that the presence of c-erbB-2 oncogene amplification and expression, in combination with parameters such as DNA-content and karyotype of the sex chromosomes, confer an increased risk of developing pGTD.

Comparative analysis of two-dimensional protein patterns in malignant and normal human breast tissue.

Malignant and normal human breast tissue were compared by evaluating two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2D-PAGE) maps of frozen tissue samples. Image analyzing software was used to scan and process 34 gels. Eight (8/34) of these gels (4 malignant breast tumor samples, 4 normal tissue samples) were selected on the basis of gel and image quality to build a database to identify and measure the expression of a previously unidentified proteome.

Human papilloma virus DNA: a factor in the pathogenesis of mammary Paget's disease?

The paraffin sections from 20 nipples with Paget's disease (10 central intraductal and 10 invasive ductal carcinomas) were analyzed for human papilloma virus (HPV) DNA of the low- and intermediate/high-risk groups. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and dot (slot) blot hybridization were used for the detection of HPV DNA types 6/11/16/18/31/33/35. In addition, we examined the c-erbB-2 oncogene expression in the specimens to differentiate benign cells in the surface epithelium of the nipple and areola from Paget cells.
