Development and validation of a robust RP-HPLC method to quantitate residual 2-mercaptoethylamine in drug product formulations containing amino acid additives.

Bispecific antibodies have a wide range of applications in cancer immunotherapy, some of which are manufactured by controlled Fab-arm exchange requiring the reductant 2-mercaptoethylamine (2-MEA). As a process impurity, monitoring the residual 2-MEA in bispecific antibody drug product process development is needed. A novel reversed phase-high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method for measurement of residual 2-MEA that uses 7-fluorobenzofurazan-4-sulfonic acid ammonium salt (SBD-F) as a fluorescent-detection tag in drug product formulations containing high concentrations of arginine has been developed.

The education of mental health nurses has long remained a contentious topic in the UK and internationally. This research seeks to gather the perspectives of those directly affected by mental health nurse education. To investigate what knowledge, skills and values current mental health nursing students, graduate mental health nurses and people with lived experience of accessing mental health services believe should be paramount within pre-registration education.

Relativistic charged-particle beams that generate intense longitudinal fields in accelerating structures also inherently couple to transverse modes. The effects of this coupling may lead to beam breakup instability and thus must be countered to preserve beam quality in applications such as linear colliders. Beams with highly asymmetric transverse sizes (flat beams) have been shown to suppress the initial instability in slab-symmetric structures.

Tier-specific contextualised high-intensity running profiles in the English Premier League: more on-ball movement at the top.

The present study aimed to determine the physical-tactical profiles of elite football teams and individual players according to final league rankings. A total of 50 English Premier League matches (n = 100 match and 583 player observations) were analysed by coding the player's physical-tactical actions through synchronising tracking data and video. Final league rankings were categorised into Tiers: (A) 1-5 ranking (n = 25), (B) 6-10 ranking (n = 26), (C) 11-15 ranking (n = 26), and (D) 16-20 ranking (n = 23).

Friendship theory for public health research and practice: a critical realist review.

Aims: To critically analyse theories of friendship through privileging research on the experience of friendship among those who have experienced mental ill-health. To inform public health approaches that aim to facilitate friendship and assist those experiencing mental ill-health.

Method: A selective, iterative, purposive review of theoretical and empirical studies, within a critical realist epistemology, is undertaken to provide an analysis.
