Background: Strong primary care (PC) services are the foundation of high-performing health care systems and can support effective responses to public health emergencies. Primary care practitioners (PCPs) and PC services played crucial roles in supporting global health system responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, these contributions have come at a cost, impacting on PC services and affecting patient care.

This remarkable feat is achieved through intricate host-pathogen interactions in immune cell aggregates called granulomas, wherein find favorable cellular niches to exploit while the host limits its expansion and tissue dissemination. Here, using a mouse model of persistent infection, we identify a host-protective role of eosinophils in control of Typhimurium (Tm) infection within the mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN), the main lymphoid tissue of Tm persistence.

We sought to understand use of telemedicine (telephone and video) at two FQHCs in Los Angeles, and the client attitudes towards and experiences with telemedicine as part of future HIV care.
Methods: We conducted surveys with 271 people living with HIV (PLHIV), with questions covering sociodemographic factors, telemedicine attitudes and experiences, technological literacy, and access to technological resources and privacy.
Background: The transoral transpharyngeal odontoidectomy, followed by occipitocervical fixation, have traditionally been a recognized method for ameliorating ventral compression at the craniovertebral junction (CVJ), despite its associated comorbidities. As an alternative, the endoscopic endonasal odontoid resection is a viable approach for various CVJ abnromalities that preserve the oropharynx and leads to fewer procedure-related complications(1-4). We present our case to detail the technical nuances of the procedure and its advantages over other techniques.
