[Analysis of the flupenthixol distribution in the internal organs of laboratory animals for the diagnosis of acute poisoning].

Unlabelled: Flupentixol has been used for a long time in Russia in psychiatric practice; however, there are cases of its overdose and poisoning with it. In the literature, there are no systematic studies to identify flupenthixol in the diagnosis of acute poisoning.

Objective: The purpose of the work is to analyze the distribution of flupenthixol in the internal organs of laboratory animals in acute poisoning.

[The chemical toxicological analysis of sertindole].

Sertindole is an "non-typical" neuroleptic extensively used for the treatment of schizophrenic patients. The detection of intoxication with this medication implies the necessity of development of the optimal methods for its isolation from the biological materials and further identification. The objective of the present work was to study the influence of various factors on the efficiency of sertindole extraction from solutions, the elaboration of the methods for its isolation from biological objects, detection, and quantitative determination in the extracts from these objects.

[The specific features of tuberculosis in patients with HIV infection in the Republic of Kalmykia (from the practice of The Republican AIDS Center)].

The paper analyzes the epidemic situation associated with tuberculosis and AIDS in the Republic of Kalmykia and shows the high incidence (21.2%) of tuberculosis in the HIV infected. The authors propose a classification of tuberculosis and AIDS according to the clinical manifestations and outcome of a disease.
