Surgical valve replacement in adults late after total cavo-pulmonary connection/Fontan procedure.

Objectives: There is dearth of data on long-term outcomes of systemic semilunar (SS) or atrioventricular (AV) valve operation in adult patients with a Fontan circulation. We describe a single-centre experience of adults who underwent valve surgery late after a Fontan procedure.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed all patients with a Fontan circulation who had a reoperation for severe valve disease during adulthood in our centre.

In this study, we examine the interplay between several yeast proteostasis enzymes, including deubiquitylases (DUBs) Ubp2 and Ubp14, and E3 ligases Ufd4 and Hul5, and we explore their roles in the regulation of the cellular levels of K29-linked unanchored polyubiquitin (polyUb) chains.

Introduction: Advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy includes endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) guided transbronchial lung and lymph node biopsies, CT navigation and robotic bronchoscopy. Interventional bronchoscopy refers to procedures performed for therapeutic purposes such as balloon dilation of the airway, tissue debulking, cryotherapy, removal of foreign bodies and insertion of endobronchial valves [1].
