Background: For patients with aortic root dilatation and a structurally normal aortic valve (AV) undergoing composite aortic valve-graft (Bentall-De Bono) versus valve-sparing aortic root replacement (VSARR) procedures there are conflicting data regarding early and long-term benefits.
