Aberrant right subclavian artery, also called arteria lusoria, is the most common congenital anomaly of the aortic arch (prevalence 0,5-1.8 %). Patients with trisomy 21 have a higher prevalence (35 %).

Bilateral traumatic renal artery dissection managed by endovascular therapy.

We present the case of post-traumatic bilateral renal artery injury with renal perfusion disorder, successfully treated by endovascular treatment. This therapeutic approach avoided the need for long-term dialysis by maintaining a sufficient renal function. This case is an illustration of the feasibility and the efficiency of endovascular treatment in severe post-traumatic renal artery lesions.

Multicenter, Randomized Trial of Conventional Balloon Angioplasty versus Paclitaxel-Coated Balloon Angioplasty for the Treatment of Dysfunctioning Autologous Dialysis Fistulae.

Purpose: To investigate the potential added value of paclitaxel-coated balloon (PCB) angioplasty to reduce fistula dysfunction related to recurrent stenoses in patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Materials And Methods: A prospective, randomized study was conducted in 3 dialysis referral centers. From January 2013 to October 2015, 64 patients (22 female, 42 male) with dysfunctional autologous dialysis fistulae were randomized to undergo conventional percutaneous balloon angioplasty (n = 31) or PCB angioplasty (n = 33).
