Background: New respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines have been approved in the USA for the prevention of RSV-associated lower respiratory tract disease in adults aged 60 years and older. Information on the real-world effectiveness of these vaccines is needed.
Methods: We used electronic health records in the Veterans Health Administration to emulate a target trial comparing a single dose of a recombinant stabilised prefusion F protein RSV vaccine versus no vaccination among veterans aged 60 years and older.
In total, 126 tissue-pooled samples were collected from suspected sick chickens showing signs of stunted growth, weakness, and diarrhea in five provinces/cities in Northern Vietnam. The Gyrovirus gala 1 (GyVg1) genome was detected in 26 (20.63%) of the 126 chicken samples based on a polymerase chain reaction assay.

Ninety-six patients with CLSR pain between March 2021 and March 2023 were included in this study, 58 patients with G1SL without instability on dynamic radiographs - Group A and 38 patients with instability - Group B. Pre-procedure, Group B had higher pain levels than Group A.

The cellular mechanisms behind this overactivity remain poorly understood, with most attention paid to likely central nervous system components. In this work, we hypothesized that aging also affects the function of motor neurons in the peripheral sympathetic ganglia.
