Spectral Imaging techniques such as Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) and Raman Spectroscopy (RS) enable the localized acquisition of spectral data, providing insights into the presence, quantity, and spatial distribution of chemical elements or molecules within a sample. This significantly expands the accessible information compared to conventional imaging approaches such as machine vision. However, despite its potential, spectral imaging also faces specific challenges depending on the limitations of the spectroscopy technique used, such as signal saturation, matrix interferences, fluorescence, or background emission.

The study evaluates the efficacy of PBM, using both Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and Light-Emitting Diode Therapy (LEDT), as promotors of osteoblastic activity and the formation of new bone. Study design, setting, and sample: 45 male Wistar rats were divided randomly into three groups of 15 individuals - (i) control group (left lower molar removed only), (ii) the LLL group (molar removed, followed by LLLT), and (iii) the LED group (molar removed, followed by LEDT).

These models were tested together with clinical features categorized as low-risk (lowR) and high-risk (highR).
Patients And Methods: The colorectal neoplasia (CRN) screening cohort of 5,090 patients included 222 CRA patients and 264 non-CRA patients.
Epidural abscess is a rare complication of neuraxial techniques, which, when left unnoticed, can lead to significant neurological deficits and poor outcomes. Identification of patients at high risk and the conduct of a strict aseptic technique are some of the measures that play an important role in epidural abscess prevention. Prompt recognition and treatment of epidural abscesses are essential.

Early detection of precursor lesions or early-stage cancer could hamper cancer development or improve survival rates. Liquid biopsy, which detects tumor biomarkers, such as mutations, in blood, is a promising avenue for cancer screening.
