HPV Vaccine Awareness and Uptake Among Sexually Transmitted Infections Clinic Users: A Cross-Sectional Study in Bologna, Italy.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection poses a significant health risk, particularly for high-risk groups such as men who have sex with men (MSM), people living with HIV (PLHIV), and transgender individuals. Despite the availability of effective vaccines, uptake among these groups remains suboptimal due to various social and behavioral barriers (BeSD). A cross-sectional survey was conducted at the Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) clinic in Bologna, Italy, from 8 April to 12 April 2024 using a paper questionnaire, investigating HPV vaccine uptake and BeSD factors influencing vaccination decisions.

The Effectiveness of COVID-19 Vaccines During the Pre-Omicron and Omicron Periods: A Retrospective Test-Negative Case-Control Study.

Endoscopic Endonasal Approach for Clival Chordomas in Elderly Patients: Clinical Characteristics, Patient Outcome, and Recurrence Rate.

 The endoscopic endonasal route has demonstrated to be the approach of choice for a large majority of clival chordomas (CCs). However, its results in elderly patients are under-evaluated in the literature. The aim of this study is to assess the surgical outcome for these patients, determining the factors associated with a larger tumor resection in this population.

Salbutamol safety in children under 2 years of age with acute wheezing: a meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials.

Objective: To evaluate the safety of short-term use of inhaled salbutamol in children under 2 years of age with acute wheezing.

Data Sources: Electronic databases (PubMed, Trip, MEDLINE) and the Cochrane Library were searched for studies published up to October 2022.
