Purpose: Glaucoma is a prevalent ophthalmologic disease and leading cause of blindness. A retrospective analysis was conducted to evaluate resources and costs for end-stage glaucoma patients receiving visual rehabilitation care (VRC).
Materials And Methods: A chart review was conducted in 3 United States VRC centers.
Purpose: To study the risk associated with diurnal intraocular pressure (IOP) variations in patients with open-angle glaucoma.
Patients And Methods: Sixty-four patients (105 eyes) from the practices of two glaucoma specialists successfully performed home tonometry with a self-tonometer five times a day for 5 days. All patients had open-angle glaucoma and documented IOP below 25 mm Hg over a mean follow-up period of 5 years.
Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of a fixed combination of 2.0% dorzolamide and 0.5% timolol administered twice daily with each of the individual components administered in their usual monotherapy dose regimens in patients who had washed out all ocular hypotensive medications.
