Colorectal cancer poses a significant global health challenge, with a considerable proportion arising from colon adenomas. Understanding the molecules involved in the carcinogenesis process is crucial for improving colon cancer diagnosis and prognosis. While research on the role of epiplakin in cancer remains limited compared to other plakin group proteins, comprehending its expression patterns and correlations can offer valuable insights into colon carcinogenesis.

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the T-cell response using IGRA and to compare various laboratory values in Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) patients hospitalized either in hospital inpatient departments or in intensive care units.
Methods: A total of 100 patients (50+50) who were identified as positive for COVID-19 through the molecular method in Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine Infectious Diseases Service and Reanimation Intensive Care Unit were included in the study.
Objective: Folliculogenesis is a complex process involving various ovarian paracrine factors. During folliculogenesis, vitamin D3 and progesterone are significant for the proper development of follicles. This study aimed to investigate the effects of vitamin D3 and selective progesterone receptor modulator ulipristal acetate on ovarian paracrine factors.

Excessive glutamate secretion has been shown to cause excitotoxicity and neurodegenerative disease. Cerebrolysin is a mixture of enzymatically treated peptides derived from pig brain including neurotrophic factors, like brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF), nerve growth factor (NGF), and ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF).
