The monitoring and control of an assembly/disassembly/replacement (A/D/R) multifunctional robotic cell (MRC) with the ABB 120 Industrial Robotic Manipulator (IRM), based on IoT (Internet of Things)-cloud, VPN (Virtual Private Network), and digital twin (DT) technology, are presented in this paper. The approach integrates modern principles of smart manufacturing as outlined in Industry/Education 4.0 (automation, data exchange, smart systems, machine learning, and predictive maintenance) and Industry/Education 5.

Supercapacitor/pseudocapacitor structures with electrodes and electrolytes based on conductive polymers, but not only, have been analyzed using techniques. Results indicated in the literature were used to confirm the results obtained for the specific capacitance and energetic performances of the systems. New material classes like Polymer-MXene electrodes ((PANI)/TiC, PFDs/TiCT) present increased capacitance in comparison with simple polymeric composites (PETC or PTh).

In contrast to the subaquatic sulphide and carbonate chimneys, which are known from Mid Ocean Ridges and abyssal submarine volcanoes, chimneys built of salts have not been described yet. Here we present such halite chimneys as a new form of cold-water smokers in hypersaline environments. The here described structures rise up from the bottom of the Dead Sea and result from the submarine discharge of saturated halite-dissolution brines into the salt lake, which is at halite saturation and holds remarkable chloride excess.

: Sepsis and septic shock remain significant contributors to high early mortality rates among patients admitted to the emergency department (ED). The objective of this study was to identify among newer biomarkers those with the highest sensitivity in early mortality prediction. : This prospective, unicentric, observational study enrolled 47 adult patients admitted to the ED between November 2020 and December 2022.
