Objectives: to develop and validate the content of an interprofessional care protocol for high-risk prenatal care.

Methods: this methodological study employed a quantitative approach and was conducted from June 2022 to February 2023. The first phase involved developing the protocol using the Convergent Care Research methodology, while the second phase consisted of content validation by 11 expert judges.

Impact of anesthetic technique on troponin I levels in pediatric cardiac surgery: a randomized clinical trial.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of the inhalational anesthetic sevoflurane on postoperative myocardial injury and renal function in children under 2 years old with congenital heart disease (RACHS 1, 2, and 3) undergoing cardiac surgery with extracorporeal circulation.

Methods: A randomized clinical trial was conducted with 66 patients divided into two groups: one receiving sevoflurane and the other Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA). The primary outcome was the serum troponin I levels within the first 48 hours postoperatively.

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of consumption of avocado oil (AO) and pulp (AP) on anxiety-like behavior, cerebral oxidative stress and alteration of the fecal microbiota in the mother and male Wistar rats offspring treated during gestation and lactation. Anxiety-like behavior was measured through the elevated plus maze (EPM) and open field test (OFT) tests. Cerebral malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione (GLUT) levels were measured in mothers and offspring.

Electrocardiographic changes induced by temperature variations in newly hatched Aperema ( Daudin, 1801).

Introduction: Aperema () is a South American semi-aquatic freshwater turtle characterized by a highly curved, dark brown to black carapace and is distributed across Central and South America. Climate change affects freshwater turtles in a number of ways, including temperature, hatchling sex, and survival.

Methods: Therefore, we analyzed temperature variations in these turtles through electrocardiographic recordings, since studies on temperature variations in are limited.
