Objective: This study aimed to evaluate changes in growth parameters in children diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Methods: The data of children with IBD between 2010 and 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. Anthropometric measurements (height, weight, and BMI [body mass index]), and clinical and laboratory data were evaluated at diagnosis and follow-up (1st and 2nd year).
Objective: Over the past decades, the incidence of acute pancreatitis is increasing, but the progression of acute recurrent pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis is still not well documented in children. The aim of this multicenter study is to delineate the changes that occur in a certain time period in the course of childhood pancreatitis.
Materials And Methods: The data of consecutive patients hospitalized with acute pancreatitis between 2010 and 2017 in 4 different pediatric gastroenterology units were reviewed.
Serum uric acid (SUA), the end product of purine metabolism acts as an antioxidant and is related to oxidative stress. It has been reported that SUA may be involved in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer disease, Huntington disease, Parkinson disease, and multiple sclerosis. However, studies evaluating SUA levels in migraine are scarce.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the features of asymptomatic siblings of index celiac patients who were diagnosed with celiac disease (CD) at the initial screening.
Methods: We reviewed hospital records of 210 children with CD. The characteristics of sibling celiacs (n=24) were compared with index celiacs (n=186).
