Background: To describe the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of migraine and the status of treatment in Colombia. Additionally, the use of health resources by patients was measured.
Methods: This was a non-interventional, retrospective, descriptive study conducted in one Colombian Health Management Organization (HMO) from 2018 to 2022 with a follow-up period of 5 years.
Objective: To investigate the relationship between obesity and postoperative mortality in the context of high procedural complexity and comorbidity burden.
Background: The "obesity paradox" suggests better postoperative outcomes in patients with higher body mass index (BMI), despite obesity's associated health risks. Research remains scarce on the influence of procedural complexity and comorbidities on the obesity-postoperative mortality relationship.
Remote sensing is a valuable tool in precision agriculture due to its spatial and temporal coverage, non-destructive method of data collection, and cost-effectiveness. In this study, we measured the canopy reflectance of potato ( L.) crops on a plant-by-plant basis with a handheld spectrometer instrument.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 24 patients with irreparable rotator cuff tears of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus, treated with SCR. Two treatment groups were formed: one with 12 cases using AA and another with 12 cases using LHB.
Background: Studies on late community-acquired respiratory virus (CARV) infections in long-term allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT) survivors are scarce, creating knowledge gaps on the epidemiology, risk of progression to lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD), and conditions linked to poor outcomes.
Patients And Methods: We included consecutive CARV infection episodes occurring up to six months after allo-HCT registered in our database from December 2013 to June 2023 at two Spanish transplant centers.
Results: Among 426 allo-HCT recipients, 1070 CARV episodes were recorded, 791 (74%) with only upper respiratory tract disease (URTD) and 279 (15%) progressing to LRTD, at a median of 18.
