Objective: To determine the reliability of objective voice measures used commonly in clinical practice.
Subjects: Eighteen healthy volunteers (nine males and nine females).
Methods: Objective voice measures were performed on 18 healthy volunteers on 10 occasions under similar conditions over a 30-day period.
Unlabelled: We performed this study to summarize drug dosing, physiologic responses, and anesthetic complications from an IV general anesthetic technique for patients undergoing craniotomy for awake functional brain mapping. Copper and cadmium inhibited the growth as well as citric acid production (depending on the heavy metal concentrations) by citric-acid-producing Aspergillus niger. Activity of citrate synthase was connected with citrate synthesis in the absence as well as in the presence of heavy metals. The activity of aconitase, and both NAD- and NADP-isocitrate dehydrogenases was strongly inhibited by copper.

The ability of fungi from genus Aspergillus (producers of organic acids) to synthesize amylase enzymes (alpha-amylase and glucoamylase) was investigated. The productivity of the strains on Czapek-Dox agar and in liquid Czapec-Dox media with 3% soluble starch as a carbon source was established.
