[Fatal outcome in a patient coinfected by malaria and HIV].

Imported malaria is a pathology mainly due to Plasmodium falciparum. For patients with co- morbidities, such as HIV or believing themselves immune, the risk of malaria is more severe. We present the case of a HIV patient carrier with a cerebral malaria of letal evolution despite a rapid decline in its parasitaemia using Artesunate.
