Bacteremia due to Stomatococcus mucilaginosus in neutropenic patients in the setting of a cancer institute.

This study reviews the clinical manifestations, causes and frequency of Stomatococcus mucilaginosus bacteremia in neutropenic cancer patients. We analyzed retrospectively all clinical and microbiological records of patients with S. mucilaginosus bacteremia.

Febrile neutropenia and Fusobacterium bacteremia: clinical experience with 13 cases.
