[Endoscopic marsupialization of parapelvic renal cysts].

Introduction: Parapelvic renal cysts are very common. Indications for surgical treatment are upper urine tract obstruction, pain and recurrent gross hematuria.

Aim: To analyze the efficiency and safety of endoscopic transurethral and percutaneous laser marsupialization of parapelvic renal cysts.

[Medical treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia with 5-reductase inhibitors].

The results of studies comparing the therapy of benign prostatic hyperplasia with 5-reductase inhibitors and 1-blockers are presented in the article. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common disease in older men. Pathogenetic treatment allows to block a progression of prostatic hyperplasia and is of greatest interest in the treatment of this disease.

Low-Intensity Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction in Diabetic Patients.

Introduction: The cause of erectile dysfunction (ED) in diabetic patients is complex and involves both neurogenic and vasculogenic components and is often hard to treat.

Aim: To study the effect of low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy (Li-ESWT) therapy on a subgroup of diabetic patients with ED who are responders (PDE5I-R) and non-responders (PDE5I-NR) to phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors (PDE5I).

Methods: Analysis of pooled data from 5 double-blind, sham-controlled trials was performed.

Lymphotropic administration of photosensitizer as a model of target therapy of testicle inflammation: Experimental and clinical data.

Background: The existence of zones of humoral skin-subskin tissue linkage with internal organs as well as the possibility of targeted administration of preparation into the affected organs were studied.

Methods: An experimental study of preparation and distribution in the bodies of mice was held by both intravenous and lymphotropic methods of administration. By means of detection with a photosensitizer (as a marker), the study was conducted on healthy mice and mice with testicle inflammation.
