Diseases which cause generalized peripheral neuropathy: a systematic review.

Purpose: Peripheral autonomic neuropathy, including enteric neuropathy, may be subtle and unrecognized for several years. Diagnosis of enteric neuropathy demands complicated examinations such as full-thickness bowel biopsy.
